"VPC" Receives Academy Award

Following and already impressive festival run (winning grand jury prixe at Gen Art, being featured in Sundance, and winning several other first prizes), Cary Fukunaga's stellar short, Victoria Para Chino receives a Student Academy Award. The sound design for this film was extremely dynamic containing both very quiet, serene moments and a sequence of cacophonic chaos. The film takes place primarily inside of a semi trailer, therefore one of the challenges was to create an evolving soundscape within a limited scope of locations.
